These CH Talent Resources (“CHTR”) Referral Program Terms and Conditions ("Program Rules") govern your participation in the Referral Program. The Program Rules are in addition to any agreements between you and CHTR, including the CHTR Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy as applicable.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The CHTR Refer & Earn Program (“Referral Program”) is offered by CHTR and provides Individuals who are interested in referring their family and friends (“Referrers”) the opportunity to refer eligible persons to join CHTR's network as potential candidates (“Candidates”). These Scheme Rules apply to Referrers and Candidates, so please read carefully to understand your respective rights and obligations.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
a. Excludes candidates currently registered with CHTR.
b. The candidate should be shortlisted and has gone for an interview ("interview" defined by CHTR)
c. All referrals should be sent between 1 June 2024 and 30 September 2024.
d. To qualify for a reward, your referred friend must be interviewed before 31 October 2024.
e. A candidate can only be referred once. In the case of multiple references given for the same candidate, only the first referrer is eligible for reward under this program.
f. For the avoidance of doubt, a person cannot refer themselves.
g. The referred candidate should already be working in Singapore or otherwise eligible to work in Singapore.
REFERRER ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to participate in the Referral Program as a Referrer, you must (a) be a legal resident of Singapore; (b) be above the legal age to work in Singapore as stated in the Singapore Employment Law; and (c) be an individual in good standing. However, if you violate the Referral Program rules or any applicable terms of service, CHTR may suspend or terminate your ability to participate in the Referral Program under any or all of your accounts. For example, if you are an existing part of the CHTR candidate network and you engage in prohibited referral activity, CHTR may terminate your ability to participate in the Referral Program.
LIABILITY
As a Referrer, you shall indemnify and defend or settle CHTR and its clients, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents, at your sole expense, from and against any and all liability, expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees), costs, damages, settlements and obligations suits, proceedings and claims (whether raised by a third party or otherwise) arising directly or indirectly out of your misrepresentation or your failure to obtain the necessary consent from the Referee before the personal data or information about the Referee is passed to CHTR for this Scheme.
NO MISREPRESENTATION
As a Referrer, you agree that you will not attempt to mislead anyone in connection with the Referral Program, either by affirmative representation, implication, or omission. In particular, you agree that you will not:
1. As a referer, you make no representation, expressly or impliedly, on behalf of or for CHTR to the referred candidate or any third party.
2. Impersonate any person or entity or create fake accounts, blogs, webpages, profiles, websites, links, or messages;
3. Misrepresent your relationship with CHTR or any other third party or create content or communications that could have the effect of leading a third party to believe that it is an official communication from CHTR;
4. Suggest that an affiliation or partnership exists with a third party where none exists.
5. Make misrepresentations concerning the characteristics or qualification requirements for the Referral Program or any referral rewards that could mislead any third party.
EXCLUSIONS
Upon participating in the scheme, you acknowledge and agree that:
1. The reward is not transferable or exchangeable and not redeemable for cash;
2. You will refund, upon demand at any time, any reward where you are found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions;
3. CHTR and its suppliers do not accept any responsibility for e-vouchers not successfully received due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind;
4. CHTR and its suppliers exclude their liability for lost or stolen e-vouchers;
5. CHTR reserves the right to offer an alternative reward of the same value at any time;
6. It is CHTR's sole discretion as to which specialisms participate in the scheme; and
7. CHTR’s decision is final.
8. Referrals must be made through the website via this form. Verbal referrals or referrals made outside of the platform will not be accepted into the program.
DISCLAIMER
Referrer agrees that CHTR and its employees are not responsible and will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or issues arising out of the use of reward and waive all claims against CHTR. The referrer agrees to exercise reward wholly at their discretion and risk.
DATA PROTECTION
As a Referrer, you represent that, before submitting any personal data to us, you have obtained all necessary consent and authorisation from the data subject in compliance with all applicate data protection laws including but not limited to the PDPA and EU GDPR, failing which you will be liable for all loss and damages suffered by us or the data subject. Please note that the referrer's identity will not disclosed by default. Only when the referred candidate asks/insists will CHTR disclose this information owing to PDPA policies.
RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
CHTR reserves the right to withhold or deduct Referral Rewards obtained through the Referral Program in the event that CHTR determines or believes that the receipt of the referral reward was in error, fraudulent, illegal, or in violation of these Referral Program rules or any other applicable agreement between you and CHTR.
GOVERNING LAW
The Referral Program Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
CH Talent Resources reserves the right to update these terms and conditions with effect for the future at any time.
